Since its inception in 1924, Toastmasters International has helped more than four million (4,000,000) people around the world build leadership, communication and presentation skills. Please join District 45 members at the Samoset Resort from November 5-7 for the annual Fall Conference. As an attendee, you will hear inspiring keynote presentations; grow personally and professionally through communication and leadership skill-building educational sessions; participate in the District 45 business meeting; network with other District 45 members and learn lessons on how to energize, educate and entertain from the 2000 World Champion of Public Speaking, Ed Tate.
During the educational sessions, expert presenters will offer you tips and tools to lead in the workplace and to communicate more effectively in your interpersonal relationships. Workshops include the judging workshop (learn how to objectively review a presentation), a workshop on club coaches, mentors and sponsors (learn how to work with club members to revive clubs), a workshop on effectively communicating your ideas (learn how to use these techniques with World Champion Ed Tate) and a workshop on interacting with people with disabilities – both visible and invisible.
