Fall 2011 District 45 Conference

Each conference is a new and inspirational experience!

Fall is here and I can feel the excitement of the District 45’s, 22nd fall conference in the air. Mark your calendars for the weekend of November 4 – 6, 2011 and plan to attend in Hampton Beach, NH USA at the beautiful Ashworth by the Sea. The conference will begin on Friday night with Opening ceremonies, a special reception for First-Timers, and a night of Games and Hospitality. Here’s where you really get to know your fellow Toastmasters.

Saturday, there will be a full schedule of Educational Sessions, Awards Luncheon, the District Business meeting and the Dinner Banquet featuring the Humorous Contest. Another fun filled evening at the pub with our fellow Toastmasters offering some Tall Tales. Remember to bring your proxies from your club, for the Business meeting. Plan to attend the educational sessions and see some of our seasoned Toastmasters at work. See your fellow members be recognized for their effects at the awards luncheon, and hold your bellies, because you will get lots of laughs throughout the Humorous contest.

Sunday morning offers the Evaluation Contest and a preview of the Spring Conference in Halifax, NS Canada.

It’s true, “Each conference is a new and inspirational experience!” Whether this is your first or 22nd conference, you will bring new friendships and experiences away that will last a lifetime. Sign up now for that personal and professional development experience. Enjoy the weekend in November with old friends and friends you’ve yet to meet.

Whether you plan to compete in the contests or simply enjoy the environment, you will have a fantastic experience. Plan to support your fellow Toastmasters and “Light up your life” with a visit to the fall conference!

See you there!

PS. Going once...Going twice...Going three times... SOLD!!! As always one of the fun things about conference is the silent auction. The Fall Conference Committee would like to ask for donations to this fun event. Do you have any gently used items that you would like to put up for auction? Do you provide a service that you think your fellow Toastmasters would be interested in? Do you have an idea for a small themed basket? If you answered yes to any of these questions then please contact the Auction Chair. Further details and the Auction Chair's email can be found if you click here.
